Rolf Hickmann - CEO
Before founding the pH Group in 1987, Rolf was a Strategy Consultant and Case Leader at The Boston Consulting Group in Munich, London and Paris. Rolf was previously Project Manager in International Technology Transfer at GTE.
Of French/German origin, Rolf received a BSc. in Physics from the University of Texas and an MBA from Berkeley, California. Having led the business from its inception Rolf has a thirst for pushing the boundaries of analytical projects, particularly within the areas of commercial risk and branch network optimisation.
Frederic Vander Elst - IT Director
Freddie was one of the founding members of the pH Group, and is the Head of IT as well as of the Web-tool development team. His previous experience involves work in the Banking, Finance, IT Hardware and Telecoms industries, as well experience across other Manufacturing and Service sectors. Freddie was the architect of pH’s best of breed file matching software, as well as the unique database design which allows The pH Megafile to maintain its market leading status.
Belgian-born, Freddie received a MA in Economics from Stanford University, California.
Max Firth - Client Director
Max joined pH as a trainee consultant in 1990. His main project work has been in Banking, Telco and Utilities both in the UK and France, as well as experience across other Manufacturing and Service sectors. As well as excellent analytical skills Max brings real strategic insight to all of his client engagements.
English-born, Max received a MA in Philosophy from Keble College, Oxford.
Paul Henry - Client Director
Paul joined pH as a trainee consultant in 1996. He has worked on projects in a wide range of industries from Banking, Electronics and Telecoms to Distribution and Logistics in both the UK, across Europe and in the USA. With a strong eye for data detail, Paul is heavily involved in many database cleanse, build and integration projects.
English-born, Paul received an MA in Chemistry from Magdalen College, Oxford.
Gilles Verley - Client Director
Arriving with a Sales & Marketing background gained in South America and France (Accor Group), Gilles joined pH London in 1993 and has been leading pH's Paris office for 10 years. His main work has been in Banking, Telecoms, the Automotive industry and Economic Development Research.
French-born, Gilles received an MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris.
